As part of the transition to 64-bit technology in macOS, you might see an alert when opening iWork '09 versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote that the apps won't be compatible with future versions of macOS, beginning with macOS Catalina 10.15.
Update to the latest versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote to continue using your iWork documents in macOS Catalina. The newer versions of iWork for Mac can open any document created in older versions of iWork. When you open older iWork files in newer versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, you're notified if there are any changes to your document.

If I do not see the iManage logo on top/in my Mac menu bar, how do I get it back?
The iManage menulet disappears when you select the Quit option on the menulet. For more information about how to enable it again, refer to the Adding the iManage menulet to Mac menu bar section in iManage Work Desktop for Mac User Guide.
All options on the iManage menulet are grayed out. How do I enable them again?
Ifyou are working with multiple applications and several dialog boxes are open, you may forget that you have an iManage dialog box from the application/iManage Work open somewhere in the background. That is when the options on the menulet will appear grayed out. Close the dialog box to enable the options again.
How can I sign in to iManage Work as a different user?
Sign out of iManage Work and sign in as another user. Every time you open iManage Work, you are signed in as this user. Repeat the steps to sign in as another user.
How do I refresh my iManage Work screen?
Select Command+R to refresh the view.
I closed my iManage Work application, how do I reopen it?
Select the iManage menulet and select Open iManage Work.
Why is the Print option not available in the Preview window?
iManage Work Desktop for Mac does not support this feature currently.
When I use iManage Work Desktop for Mac, can I filter the files in iManage Work based on their format?
Yes, but currently you can use the File Type option in iManage Work to filter only by Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, and PDF file types.

When I check out a document, where is it stored on my local machine?
Open the Finder window and select Documents > iManage. This is the location on your Mac where the document is checked out.
How do I know that the task I performed on my document using iManage Work Desktop for Mac is done?
iManage Work Desktop for Mac momentarily displays success and failure notifications for document upload, save as PDF, and check-in activities. For example, when a document is successfully uploaded, saved as a PDF, or when checkin fails due to unavailability of network or due to a conflict. To view all notifications later, select the Notification Center icon in the upper-right corner of your Mac menu bar.

Can an email client be invoked to send an attachment from iManage Work?
Yes. Based on the Preference > Email Client Configuration settings, a new email window with the attachment, link to the attachment, or both will open either in the Microsoft Outlook or the Apple Mail client.
Can I file an email and/or its attachments to iManage Work?
Yes, this is supported from Apple Mail and Microsoft Outlook using the Services > Save Email Attachments to iManage Work (in Microsoft Outlook) or Save Attachments to iManage Work (in Apple Mail).

Save Email Message to iManage Work (in Microsoft Outlook) or Save Message to iManage Work (in Apple Mail) options.
Can I file my email to multiple locations?
You can repeat the filing process as many times as you want and file the email to a new location each time. For more information, refer to the Saving emails and attachments to iManage Work section in iManage Work Desktop for Mac User Guide.
Can I file multiple emails at the same time?
Select one or more emails you want to file to iManage Work, point to Services, and select Save Message to iManage Work. For more information, refer to the Saving emails and attachments to iManage Work section in iManage Work Desktop for Mac User Guide.
How can I save my email attachments?
Select one or more emails that contain the attachments that you want to file to iManage Work, point to Services, and select Save Message to iManage Work. For more information, refer to the Saving emails and attachments to iManage Work section in iManage Work Desktop for Mac User Guide.
Can I drag email attachments to iManage Work to save them?
This feature is currently supported only for Apple Mail and unavailable for Microsoft Outlook.
Why is my email client not invoked when I select Forward, Reply or Reply All for an email in iManage Work or iManage Work Desktop for Mac?
iManage Work Desktop for Mac does not support this feature currently. However, you can complete these activities using the iManage Work dialog boxes that are displayed.

Can I switch off the automatic updates for the iManage Work Desktop for Mac application? If yes, how do I do it?
Yes, you can switch off the updates. Set the value of the updateCheckInterval option in the com.imanage.configuration.plist file to 0 (zero) to disable auto updates checks. For more information, refer to the General settings section in iManage Work Desktop for Mac Installation Guide.

Can I open my iWork documents in iManage Work for editing from iManage Work?
The Edit option is available for iWork Suite documents only if you use iManage Work web client 10.2.0.12 or later. If you have an older iManage Work web client, use the Open Document option on the iManage menulet or the Services menu in an integrated iWork Suite application to open/check out documents using the iManage Work Open dialog box.
Why am I not able to see my iWork file types in the left pane in iManage Work?

Why am I not able to see any iManage options on the Services menu for any of the supported Microsoft Office applications installed on my Mac?
To avoid this issue, ensure the supported office applications are present in the /Applicationsfolder, which is the default location where the Microsoft installer copies Office applications.
The iManage Work Desktop for Mac installer looks for Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) in the /Applications folder and is unable to install the files related to Office applications if the applications are moved to some other folder.
